TomTom Model(s)
I don't own something
Hello people,

I'm new to this forum and first time I ask a question in a public forum, at least as I can remember till now, but I would really need your help, only if someone truly knows.

Sorry for my English language as well, it's not my native.

So, I had TomTom NDS on my phone for years. This now is 3.4.21.1.b.4294 Latam edition.

Only recently I discovered that it wasn't showing traffic when opening the application.

Then I said to myself, just to logout and login.

I logged out. In my efforts to log back in, it mentioned that "something is wrong, no internet connection"

I checked EVERYTHING. Then since the problem was still there,I said again to uninstall and reinstall the application.

From that time, not only I couldn't login, but the application INSTANTLY force closes and it mentions something like "there was a problem connecting to TomTom network, no internet connection" something like that. But that was when I tried to install an older version.

So I tried to download play store version. Same message. I reinstalled Latam version, it only force closes INSTANTLY.

Of course I tried again EVERYTHING! Clear cache, clear phone's cache, reboot, NOTHING WORKS!

Somewhere I've read that maybe it recognises my phone's serial number and I have to change it. But I don't have a rooted phone and I don't want to mess it up.

Something extremely important. I installed Latam version to my new corporate phone, Samsung Galaxy A52s, but there, nothing is wrong, EVERYTHING is working just fine! Even with my personal email and my TomTom profile, everything is working as expected.

So again, what is the problem and how I may solve this?

Thank you in advance and please forgive me for this long explanation.

Hope for all of you to be well

I assume this is about the GO Navigation app. NDS is the map standard that the app is using.

To be shown traffic you need to be logged in. But I'm not sure how you managed to get the LATAM version of the app. In Europe the LATAM version should only be available for iOS beta testing and if I open that I'm shown traffic. And again, I'm logged in.

So perhaps we bring down you problem to a login issue?

Thank you for your message and for your time responding to my query.

I'm referring to the GO navigation app eventually. It's not a login issue. It's a force close issue. It's a;
"Cannot connect to TomTom services. Please try again later" issue.
