TomTom mapping proposed new roads

Anyone know what the deal is with TomTom mapping proposed new roads?

I have found a few roads (major highways) mapped into TomTom that were only business cases put forward to the Government as a proposal but later rejected.

I've taken some screenshots showing what I am on about, additionally here is the new proposal the current Government are floating for the intersection/highway which indicates the previous proposal never went through.

More peeved that TomTom are mapping these proposed roads which don't even have approval yet.

Here is another one I have found, and the Governments project website for it. The key milestone for this project is Mid-2021 to late 2023: Complete business case and progress environmental approvals.

TomTom depends upon a great many sources for input on new roads, including a great many governmental agencies. If the agencies misidentify proposed/actual, you'll get these kinds of results.
Best to use the TomTom tool to identify those roads which do not actually exist and try to get them removed quickly:
