TomTom Home troubles

Has anyone had any problems with the new version of home where you can click any of the tabs at top such as file, device, help and it's just a blank drop down?

Just tried Home xx.83--drop down menu worked fine.
Might try a re-install BUT no expert here.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but it makes no difference. I have even tried to go back to the version that worked but I cant evenget it to work since installing the newer version. I'm running Vista also.

I do NOT have Vista but have seen others with a similar issue. As I understand it, you have to change a setting in Vista so the application installs with administrator rights (or something like that )
