TomTom Go740 Live auto power on?

I would like my TomTom to turn on when I turn my ignition key like in most Garmin models. I have looked for this feature but cannot find it. Could TomTom add it in a firmware update?Why haven't they.

The last device to have this feature was the Go-x10 series, it was removed due to issues with the mount and its associated electrical connections to the device "bouncing" when the car hit pot-holes in the road.

Since its removal there have been countless requests to re-enable this and all have fallen on rather deaf ears, strange really as it would be a very handy option to have - Mike
