An error code: 107 the SIM card is deactivated contact Tomtom customer service.

If your subscription has not been renewed, before 18 months your SIM card is deactivated and it is not possible to reactivate it.

I just by the TomTom yesterday, so I did all updates. Do I need to buy a sim card? Is that it ?
 
The GO 1000 is a second-hand GPS if the previous owner has not purchased a live subscription the map is automatically deactivated

only Tomtom can change the SIM card.
Depending on the serial number, your GO is no longer tracked by Tomtom and therefore no longer repairable.

After 18 months of non-use, the SIM will be deactivated by Telecom forever. TT can no longer do anything.
