Tomtom Go Expert Plus not charging

Anyone any ideas?

I've tried 3 different cigarette lighter ports but absolutely nothing, no red light on the charger.

Is it the cable?
Have you tried with another cable?
Maybe a problem with the mount.
Have you tried plugging the cable directly into the GPS?

Cable looks ok, splits/nicks etc
I've tried with a normal usb cable that charges my phone directly to the unit and that does work BUT I have no USB sockets in the truck! only 12v cig lighters!
Mount is fine I think.

I did unscrew the end of the charger to reveal a fuse, could that be the issue?

GO Expert comes with a cigarette lighter charger.

Yes and yes, issue seems to be the charger with the fuse in the end.

Oh ok, what is the the small glass looking thing in the end of the cigarette lighter charger the bit unscrews at the end, looks like a fuse to me but ive no idea.

In my opinion, if the light on 3 cigarette lighter sockets does not come on, either your truck fuse is dead.
Have you tested this truck socket output with other equipment or asked a colleague to plug in his GPS to test?
