TomTom GO 910 ? Map installation help

May be this question has been asked before, but I can't find any useful info on this. Well, my friend just got a TomTom GO 910 and he want to install USA and Canada V-835.2494 maps. The maps folder is on his laptop and he doesn't know how to install it on TomTom GO 910. Need your help to perform this task.

If the map is legitimately obtained (purchased from TomTom directly), the installation is done using Home.

If not a legitimate map, no assistance will be provided here. See the announcement at the top of the forum.
