tomtom go 700 change language ?

dear sir,

I am going to change the tomtom go 700 default language from english to france for my friend,
someone said the original tomtom GPS installation CD is needed for change language ?is is true ?
if yes anywhere to download the CD again as I lost it a long time ago.

If your application is anything like the one on my 720, go to the last page of preferences on the unit and you'll see 'change languages' there.
