Tomtom Go 50 setup

Hi

I recently bought a used tomtom go 50 model and it starts up fine and lets me pick a language after that it asks me to pick a country but the country selection screen is completely empty and therefore i cannot finish the inital setup.

I also tried intalling tomtom my drive and home computer software and those don't recognize my tom tom go 50 either even if i have it connected to my pc with the official tomtom USB cable

Can anyone help me?
