hi everone im new here. My question involves the internal files of the tomtom. I would like to determine the files that store my data, for example i would like to know which files stores my favourites, recent destinations, home and last stopped place. I think ive narrowed it down to mapsettings.cfg? if anyone knows the internal structure of the files or documents explaining it then that would also be helpful.

mapsettings.cfg is the file that contains recents, favorites, etc. your points of interests you create are in ov2 files.

thank you - does anyone know the structure of the file in ascii/hex? ive tried to look at it so that i can determine the logitude and lattitude of each place but i was not sucessful.
also does anyone know the file that stores the home desitination? is this in the mapsettings.cfg too?
