I'm sure that this has been noticed before. But i happened to stumble upon this:
It's from the TomTom website: (It made me laugh)

Q: How can I submit feedback about my experience with TomTom Customer Support?

A: We recognise that occasionally we don't get it right. In these instances we encourage you to tell us about your concerns so that we have the opportunity to establish the root cause of your dissatisfaction....

...and its goes on....

Despite my sarcasm that will come later, I do want to sincerely thank you for posting this.

I can't tell you how quickly I clicked that link to give them a nice email about my disastisfaction with their misreprentation of what Map Share actually provides the customers, and also complain about the recent fiasco with the TomTom Home v2.2 upgrade, how their servers are more frequently unavailable than available, etc.

...then I followed your link and my excitement fizzled like air leaving a balloon. Our only recourse for formal complaint is to write a snailmail letter...to the Netherlands?! Haha. Yeah, they're really trying to reach out to their customers there to ensure proper customer satisfaction. Yuppers. Absolutely. Sheesh.

Dissatisfied Macintosh User/ GO 720 Owner

Yeah, so far, as a Mac user, I'm highly disappointed with this product, and what I was be led to believe I was buying. I actually thought there was support for the Mac, unlike Garmin (had one of those, wasn't impressed, sold it after 2 months of getting lost - let me down A LOT of non-existent dirt roads).

Customer support is non existent.
Google Maps to the TomTom? Hah that's a good joke too.

Thinking of selling it (too late to return it - past 30 days), and going back to just printing Google Maps when I need directions.
:(
