TomTom dead?

My TT is so old, there's nof forum for it. It's a TT Go, the one with a nice round butt.
Today, however, it stopped working properly. The only thing it does is showing picture of it's butt, with a cable attached.
And the charge led keeps burnig although it's not being charged (any more now).
Extende charging didn't work, nor a hardware reset.
Any idea what's wrong? And if so, is it repairable (by myself, it's a crisis, right?)
Any help or advice (beyond replacing) is highly appreciated.

Sounds as if the battery may be fried. I'm not sure what model Go you have but see if the information in this link about replacing a battery in a Go 300 helps.

Look like mine. I'm gonna pursue this. THXalot
