Tomtom does not turn on

I have a tomtom ONE unit and it does not turn on. When plugged into my computer or into my car, the green light at the bottom turns on but when pressing the top button nothing happens. How do I fix this? I tried to open up the unit to see if the on/off button is broken but I can't find any screws.

I bought this from Amazon as a refurb for $50 and I'm kind of regretting it now if this can't be fixed.

I think your model has a reset hole in the bottom of the unit. If so, use a paperclip to reset the unit and then try again to turn on the unit.

I tried to do a soft restart by holding the on/off button for 15 seconds and nothing happened.

How do I reset it with a paperclip? I don't see any holes to put the paperclip in.

Sorry, I thought your model had a reset hole in the bottom; if not, resetting it is the way you described.

I found the problem. I opened up the unit and the on/off button was broken. It has 4 connections and one of them was broken. I need to solder it back on but in the meantime I taped it and it works now.
