Hallo friends , i got a problem with my device it's model 4FA50. When it's connected with a cable to PC it's working good but not working on battery , when plugged to car power supply also not working and turning off in bootloader . I checked a battery voltage and it's 4V , anybody got ideas what's a problem ?
PS Sorry but my English is not so good.

If your GPS works when plugged into the computer and not in the car.
Have you tried with another cigarette lighter charger?

You say you checked the battery voltage and found 4V. But you didn't tell us if the battery was under load when you checked it. It's only a helpful measurement with the device running. A battery can show close to optimum no-load voltage, but collapse and have no capacity when it's asked to actually do something.

Your device is fairly old now, and it may well be time to swap batteries.

I can't recall what a 4FA50 is. It's somewhere in the GO500/600 vintage.
Can you instead please supply the first two characters of the serial number?

If it runs fine on when USB connected to your computer (probably only 500mA available) but doesn't work in your car, you've got a problem with the power in your car - either the mount, the adapter or the cable. What kind of car supply are you using?
