I believe that the 720 is like the 920. The SD card slips into the slot at the bottom (there is probably a dummy card in there now).

Then you can either use TTHome or Windows Explorer. If you use HOME, it will create a folder on the card called

mp3

and then it will open an Explorer window where you can drag/drop mp3 files.

If you use Explorer yourself, you will have to create the mp3 folder still called

mp3 (LOWER CASE letters ONLY)

Hello thanks for the answer
there is already map in my tomtom internal SD called MP3
Do i have to delete it or remove it or what ?

Actually, if you have room on the Internal Memory, you could place mp3 music files there.

But, NO, you can leave that one alone. The 720 can sort of "append" items that are located in Internal Memory and an SD card that appear in folders with the same name.

So creating

mp3

on the card will allow you to copy music there. And if you had music in both mp3 folders, the device would find all of the music in both places.

Note that you can use up to a 4 gB HCSd (it might even accept 8Gb but I have not seen that info and am just speculating), card on the 720. Best if you use the SD card of whatever size to store mp3, pics so as to leave room on your internal for map updates etc.

Check out the thread on activating Voice Recognition. It requires you to DL the latest North America map and to do so you will need all the room you can find on your internal storage.

Thanks guys for the help
i already fixed it and i am happy
one more question is how can i listen to my Music from tomtom into my Car Radio ?

Go into preferences and you will see where you can set up your speaker preferences as well as your music. You will be prompted to select an FM station that is unused usually in the 87.9 to 91.1 range or others. (I guess I am a bit leaning to what Sirius tells me). Once set and your tom tom is set...tunes on the go.!!

It will work on any channel you input, but it seems to work much better on some channels than others. HINT: make sure you turn the volume on the TomTom to the maximum.
