Tomtom 550 problems

I have a TomTom Rider 550. After downloading the update, the system will update. At 100% it starts updating again. I have already done a hard reset several times. But he keeps doing the same thing over and over again. Anyone have an idea?

try a hard update via cable to your computer rather than over the air

I connect the TomTom with the cable on my MacBook. But it looks like in MyDrive I can change everything, but I have to do the update on the TomTom itself. Is that normal?
