TomTom 2 reset

I've my Rider 2 for about a week now and I've had to rest it 3 times am I doing something wrong. I put it on the home charger and when I went to take it off and turn it on it would not go on until I reset it. What's with that. Any help would be great. TIA .....TTR2

Yes this is not right.
Im not sure if the flash tool will work on the rider 2. The flash tool is located at www.tomtom.com/support
I would recommend calling TomTom Support about this. You may have to exchange the unit for another one if this still happens.

Thanks Pedro I'll see if it happens again. I didn't know I had to remove the SD card first befor e Ireset it. Thanks TTR2

TTR2 reset

I too am a new owner of a TTR2.. Mine failed to turn on without resetting while out on a cycle trip. Called support and they remined me that it takes 3 hold sec. to turn it off and 5 sec. hold to turn it on. That is different then the TTR1. Try this and let me known. Mine seems to be find after using these metions.
