tomtom 125 problem

Does anhyone know how to fix my tomtom 125? It was working fine. I hooked it up to the computer to get map share. I didn't know I couldn't unhook it from the computer, and I did. Now it comes on with a blank screen, then it comes up with the drive safely screen and continue button. I hit the continue button and it said No maps found!, but the time is still correct. I just tried to download stuff again and it did accept a new shut down screen. So I know its loading stuff, but its not working like it should. I am NOT real computer savvy. Help Help Help!!!

Did you by chance make an Explorer backup prior to doing any updates?
