tom tom XXL 540 co-ordinates

Hi Is there a way of extracting co-ordinates from this GPS XXL540. I need to find out where I am in relation to a hard copy of a map which has coordinates on it. ie in remote areas.

regarding my earlier request for co-ordinates from my tom tom xxl 540, I have since fired it up and gone into "where am I" command but it only shows geographical co-ordinates.
Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough the first time around, sorry.

What I was hoping for was local grid co-ordinates. ie "Australian Map Grid" (AMG)

Tomtom's only support latitude/longitude coordinates. You'd need a web converter like this if you want grid coordinates.
