Tom Tom won't charge

I think the model is Camper. When I plug it in to a usb charger on a 13 amp mains socket theres a red image of a battery and it doesn';t charge.

Before I wang it is there anything I can try>

Assure that charger and cable are working properly.
What happens if you try charging in your vehicle with the cig adapter and cable supplied with the Camper?

13 Amps, I think that's a lot. The maximum for a GPS is 5 Volts. 2.4 Amps?
What you can do is try with another cable.

The supplied cable will have got mixed up with the rest but I brought it in the house because it wouldn't charge in the van. Tried different cables.

Well a 240v 13amp socket with a usb charger plugged in will provide the requisite for any usb device. Are you not in the UK?

Willy is from France, and perhaps the word "mains" threw him a curve, and he was thinking about a 13A USB charger!
