tom tom one HELP!!!

updated to 7.903. and now it takes FOREVER to find satellites , IF it will find them.. i have had no problems with finding satellites before but ive had to soft reset this thing 3 times today,, then it will after a few minutes find satellites, (outside of car) (wont hardly find them while im in the vehicle) please help

yes, that version stated above is what was suggested for download when i hooked my tomtom up to tomtom home via my pc. i downloaded and have had trouble ever since. it is so aggravating. thanks for any help or opinions that will be posted her, i do appreciate it.

A reset on the unit sometimes helps.....

unfortunantly i am FORCED to reset everytime i cut the thing on.. it seem to hang up and be searching for satellites.. what a frustrating experience this tomtom has been lately.

Make a complete Explorer, not Home, backup. Ensure hidden files/folders are showing.

Now, reformat your unit. Don't use quickformat.

Restore your backup.

See if that helps.

i dont want to sound like a dummy so could you post a link to how to . tutorial. i have made backups on tomtom home.. is that incorrect. sorry im new to tomtom. thanks so much
