Are you meaning Show the maximum speed for the road you are on? If so and IF your model has this functiionality, you'll find it on the preference-->Status bar settings

I meant the max speed that you have gone since you turned the GPS on. Sorry.

Well, on the status bar, in can be set to show the distance to travel to the destination. But that value won't 'stick'. What you can do is look for a 3rd party application from here: Le Web Bazar !!! Tripmaster !!!
