Tom Tom new owner

Hi everyone I just got my Tom Tom One Third edition. I cant wait to use it at work. I am an EMT and this is just perfect for the ambulance. I am not real technologicly inclined so anything I should know about this before I go to work on Monday? I know the basics about it but anything else I should know? Please let me know

First, recommendation - back it up.

Second, go out and play with it a bit. Try finding addresses you have gone to recently and see how it routes you. You can run in Demo mode (does that unit have demo mode?). You may find that it creates some ODD routes particularly when you have LOCAL info on better routes than it has.

You can also downloaded the latest maps using HOME 2
Just click on 'file' then select 'use latest maps Guarantee'
