Tmobile free data roaming

Tmobile just announced free but slow data roaming in Canada.

Its fast enough for HD traffic, so Americans can get to use HD traffic on their Tomtom Android/iOS app while in Canada.

I'm in Montreal now and HD traffic roaming is free and functional as expected for TT android on Tmobile. Surprisingly it is at 3g speeds on Rogers.

Thanks for reporting in and for the visit to our country (yeah, Quebec is still part of Canada .......... )

About a month ago, while in Niagara Falls NY, I got LIVE services, including traffic on my 1535 LIVE while in our hotel room on the 19th floor of a hotel about 2 miles from the Canadian site. Shouldn't have happened but was bemused to see it.

When back at ground level, no LIVE with the 1535. In fact, was trying to test a rds-tmc combo antenna/car charger. Device did recognize the antenna but never got traffic info while in NY State.
