How come my time on the TTOne is one hour ahead even though I sync'ed in the preference menu?

I dont think the unit it set for daylight savings.

exactly. the satellite doesn't care about daylight savings time. you have too make the adjustment.

One hour ahead? AFAIK, it will sync to Universal Co-ordinated Time (UTC), which is derived from GPS time.

In which case, if you're local time is 1 hour behind UTC, you are currently in West Africa, or the Azores!! Either that, or you are in England, Ireland, Scotland, Portugal, Iceland, or Morocco and you made this observation before the clocks changed a couple of weeks ago.

As Pedro2NR and runawfl noted, GPS does not know, or care, about DST rules.

I don't have a 720, but it should be in the 'Preferences'. If you don't see it, look for an icon that says 'Show all menu items' or something to that effect. Then look again.
