Hello Forum
My Renault Clio 1.2 TCE GT Line TT 2011has a Tom Tom Sat Nav which has worked fine for the last 5 years and I have also been able to update maps etc. I do not have a manual for the TomTom and do not know the model number. When I turned it on recently, it would show nothing more than first a b/w egg timer and then a lime green egg timer. Eventually I decided to remove the SD card. I replaced it and it said there were no maps. I put the SD card in my computer and loaded up TomTom Home to replace the maps. It told me there was an error with the drive and that I should scan it. When I try to scan it, a further message says there was a problem repairing this drive. I am a hopeless luddite as far as anything technical is concerned and am also on an extremely tight budget. I am thinking perhaps I will have to buy a new card and then upload new maps but that this will be a very costly exercise. Would a kind person be able to give me some advice and tell me if there is a better and cheaper solution, and if so, would you be able to explain in very simple terms! Thank you so much. Lindsey
