Also, the roads we travel take us through several states...i.e., confusion; denial; disbelief; discontent; disillusion; and finally, upon arrival at our destination, euphoria!

Why does TomTom call toll roads Freeways? Is that a European thing or a Californian thing?

If you select "English (UK)" for your language, it will call it the Motorway, if you select "English (US)" for your language, it will call it the Freeway. (At least this is how it works on my ONE the Third.
