I bought my 920T at Besy Buy about 3 weeks ago. Used it on a trip back/forth to Tennessee to VA, and it worked great. New to TomTom (I also have a avmap GT4 [for APRS]..) ..

Thought I was having a problem though. The volume change bar kept coming up while Iwas using it on a route. Was not sure what had happened. Thought it had overheated. Found out that the remote had changed location in my cup holder and somthing was pressing on it, causing a button to be pushed. Corrected that, and it worked flawlessly (operator error).

Very happy with the 920T. Found a change that I would like TomTom to make in the display. Would like to see a indicator of what level that you have the map zoomed in at (100 yards, 1/4 mile, 1 mile ect). Other than that, can't complain.

Traffic option worked great in Tidewater and Richmond areas. I suppose that when TMS adds more cities, it'll be a lot more useful during travel (Knoxville, Roanoke and Chattanooga would benefit from TMS coverage).

What are the improvements in the 920 from the 720 and is it worth upgrading? The biggest upgrade that I see is the enhanced positioning technology if you lose GPS coverage & Voice Recognition works.

Anything else?

Thanks,
--Phil
