Taking TomTom to Spain

Hi,

I'm taking my TomTom to Spain in June and am looking for help/advise on what i need to do to make sure that it works over there.

Is there anything I need to download?

Stating the obvious here .............. a map of Spain for your device. Do you have one? And what is your model TomTom??

One wonders if Helen has UK map or Western Europe map. If the latter, the answer is easy ... just wait about 10 minutes after you arrive and it should discover where you are and work perfectly normally.

I used mines in Spain last year and it worked perfectly well.
Some street names and how they are written can be confusing though. Sometimes searching by the postcode number doesn`t show where you want to go.

I may be corrected but I thought exact postcode number searches are only active in the UK and the Netherlands.
