Suspend Guidence?

I was wondering if there is a simple way to ask the TomTom app (v 1.6 for iphone) to suspend guidance and then to resume guidance without cancelling the current route. This is a common navigation feature in Toyota and Lexus.

The only way I know of doing this is to cancel the route then reselect the destination, the destination should be stored so you can go to Navigate To/ Recent Destinations and it will be top of the list (last known destination) - Mike

You could simply switch off the TT app. Use the instructions given above under Sticky threads to close down the App (no need to cancel route), or if you have Multitasking turned off in Advanced Settings, simply press the Home button. As soon as you reopen the App, guidance resumes.

Problem solved.
