When I decided to update the card on my TomTom ONE to a 2GB, I took the quick and dirty way.
1) Mount the TomTom as a disk
2) Open Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities)
3) Make a disk image using the TomTom as the source disk.
4) When done, dismount the TomTom, put the new disk in, remount the TomTom
5) Open the Disk Image, copy using the Disk Image as the source, and the new TomTom card as the destination.
Worked like an absolute charm!
