Still confused on Plus Traffic on the 920

I can get weather and the other services. However when I try and get traffic it still tells me I need a subscription. It's suppossed to be free. At least according to TomTom's support page:

All TomTom promotions are free of charge. This means there are no TomTom subscription fees. However for Traffic you might still have to pay your mobile operator for your GPRS subscription. Safety Cameras can be downloaded on your PC via internet.

Its not free AFTER the promo.

To use in promo period, you have to activate it via home or the website.

I got a promo code in my box but when I enter it says it's invalid. Hmmmm I sent an email to support I will see if they respond or I will call them. Could be useful here in Miami.
