Start 25 screen changes when dark outside

I have a Start 25 that works well but if it's ever on when the light begins to fade and the map is showing, and is doesn't matter if it's operating in day or night display mode, the Plan Route screen comes on which then will sometimes switch to the 2D/3D setup screen. During normal light it's fine. If I press the screen to get back to the map it will display for about 30 seconds and go back to the Plan Route or Setup screens. It's as if someone has pressed the screen. As the only common factor is the light outside I wonder if it's the light sensor but has anyone seen this before?

Dust may be lodged between the plastic case and the screen.
The solution is to slide a credit card between the case and the screen.

If the problem still persists, reset the device to factory settings.
