I have an intermittent problem with the speed showing in the app. Occasionally , and usually on the motorway, the app will suddenly start showing double speed, eg 140mph! In itself I could ignore this, but it sends the overspeed warning boings berserk. I don't know if this is the fault of the App, the Phone (iphone 12) or the car (Seat Leon Mk 4)
This leads to another problem:
The speedometer on my car seems to be ridiculously accurate, and generally agrees with the speed reported in the App (excluding the above problem obviously). The App seems to alert even at 1mph over the limit, so of course I'm getting constant warnings; I'm fairly sure the Tomtom devices allowed 3mph before boinging. The App is also giving 2 sets of 3 boings for each warning, is this normal?
Bizarrely I still prefer the TomTom app over Waze
