I'm trying to enter some speed limits, via Mapshare, for some local roads around me for which TomTom doesn't have any speed limit data. For the most part, this works fine. There are some roads with a speed limit of 25mph. I enter the change through Mapshare and the speed limit shows as 25mph. Other roads have a speed limit of 40mph. I enter the change again and the speed limit now shows as 40mph. Are you seeing the pattern? But wait.
If the road has a speed limit of 35mph, I enter the change and ... huh???? TomTom now shows the speed limit as 34mph. At first I thought my finger must have slipped. But I tried it several times. I even tried changing it to 40 first and then to 35, but TomTom always shows it as 34. If I try to change it to 35, it tells me that no change has been made.
