speed limit changes

How do you program speed limit changes in the middle of a street? I am at a loss on how to do this. Any help or links would be appreciated. I have a tomtom go 740.

You have to select the street then deselect the segments of the street not affected by the change, if its a long street this process can take hours and isn't really worth the hassle IMHO - Mike

Here's a link to a thread Mike created about changing segments of a road.

It's somewhat tedious as Mike points out and requires both a steady hand and a rum & coke I think!

I find it to be a LOT easier to select/deselect using the mouse on my PC with TTHome than to do it on the face of my TomTom.
