When doing short trips, using CarPlay, I don’t plan a route, eg town to town.

Will TT Go alert still to speed cam alerts when no route planned like other apps? eg if a new mobile camera is there, I don’t need ti plan a route as I know the way but still want alerts.

Thanks

As far as I know, you will still be warned. But I would pay attention to the signs on the side of the road. Then you are on the safe side

Obviously I will pay attention to road signs…. That wasn’t really my question though.

I want to know if it alerts for speed cams if no route planned, is there anything I need to set in the app etc?

Installing Amigo on your phone is free and you will be notified of speed cameras without having planned a route.

Really, wow and it’s free didn’t know this. So what’s the difference between Amigo and Go?

@MrTT Amigo is a free app primarily designed to serve as a speed camera warning tool, which can be used as an overlay on various navigation apps. It should be noted that Amigo is not a fully-fledged navigation app, as it offers fewer features for route planning. However, it does allow you to plan a route from point A to point B while providing speed camera warnings. Additionally, it's important to mention that the app operates online, requiring an internet connection to be utilized without the need for downloading.
