Special POI not showing after update to 1.9

Hi. I recently upgraded my US/Canada TomTom app to version 1.9 on the iPhone 4S. Since then, I noticed that the special POI icons aren't showing up (ie the Golden Arches for McDonalds and the like). Has anyone else had this problem and has anyone else been able to fix it? It's a minor thing; but i find it makes it easier to find a place when I'm driving when the icon can tell me exactly what location something is. Thanks for any help.
