south east us recent map upload

hi i have a tom tom Go 910 and have just installed the south east us map in anticipation of our forthcoming holiday how will it work when we get there zip codes ? full address? and will it only detect the required info when we land in florida , anybody outhere who can help

When you get to FLA, Manage Maps-->Switch maps. Select Florida.

Then, Navigate to and choose zip code or street and address, whatever.

Just remember it'll probably take a few minutes to 'grab' a satellite ginal when you first turn the unit on. Stay in an open area and stationary for the best opportunity to get the signal quicker.
