I've recently moved from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 4S and have found that the output to the stereo via audio cable from the car kit is really, really bad.
It's muffled and static-filled, almost like a badly received radio broadcast.
I have plugged the audio cable directly into the iPhone, and sound is good. I have also used the iPhone on an standard docking cradle and sound is good. The only time it sounds bad is when it's plugged into the Tom Tom.
Anyone else having similar issues?
