Some questions about new XL 340 - S!

I believe I was reading a review of the 340S a few weeks ago and someone mentioned that you can un-install (delete) languages. Given the fact that I'm obsessive compulsive when it comes to my digital world, I'd like to streamline my device by removing all the languages other than English and the Mexico map. Can someone kindly post instructions on how to do that? Secondly, do the TomTom map updates ever go on sale, or is the Map Share sufficient in most instances? Thank You!

Are you a Virgo, by any chance? :D

You can use Home to remove any voices you won't be requiring, including any of a non English language.

If you are truly compulsive and want to save some space, go to the license folder on your unit using Explorer and delete any files that don't say EN_US or similar.

You can't split off a Mexico map or delete it even if you never plan to drive there.

Mapshares are NOT the same as map updates. Any new roads or altered roads cannot be reflected with mapshare updates.

Split off the Mexico map or delete it ......?
I'm dying to find out the way to do this .....would you share with us how to ...?
Thanks .

The only way to have a seperate Mexico map is to purchase it as a standalone map (it's 59.6MB in size) if Mexico is included within your NA map then there is no way to split it out - Mike

For a minute ..i thought i could liberate my tt form Mex.map ....ehhhh..
Thanks Mike .
