Simple Question: Model Number Problem

I purchased a Tomtom at Best Buy. The package says XL 340 TM Live.

The brochure inside the box says XL 340 S Live.

When I check the TT website, and put in "R4" as the first two characters of my serial number, it confirms that I have an XL 340 S Live.

Is there a problem? Was the wrong device in the box? Does this make sense?

HELP.

I bought two the same day.

The first one SN begins with "R4" and the TT website says: XL 340 S LIVE --- I think this has LIVE

The second one SN begins with "RU" and the TT website says: XL IQ Routes TTS* / 340S - 2GB --- I think this does NOT have LIVE but I haven't turned this one on yet.

Either way, I want to make sure both have Lifetime Traffic and Maps.

The services on the "R4" shows everything. When I touch MY SERVICES, it says everything is valid until 11/20/10.

Well, that one seems to be LIVE.

You can seek more information from CS at 866-486-6866. Perhaps they can verify if your other unit was mispackaged.

It seems that I have the TM model.

Traffic because I have the cable with the traffic receiver.

Maps because in the box was a card with acode that gives me lifetime maps.

that's the only way I would know.

Yes, you have the TM. The 340S LIVE and 340TM LIVE are identical pnd hardware.

Only difference is the included antenna and maps code.

Same thing applies to all TM vs non TM models.
