GPS will not link to sattelite. I asks me if I am indoors? What could be the problem?

Which TomTom do you have?
Where are you placing it? How long have you kept it there to search for satellites? (It takes sometime on the first try)

Also, have you connected your device through HOME and done an Update my (device) for a QuickGPSfix ?
