Search POI along route

I am considering the XXL540, XXL550, or VIA 1505. The user manual for the 550 seems to indicate that you can search for POI along the route. The VIA manual does not indicate so I am curious if it has this capability. I would also be curious as the limitation of thisfeature on any of these models.

While at it -- are there still problems with x64 Win 7 and Home used by the XXL series?

Yes, the Via can do it. The limitation will be 50 miles from current location, though.

Haven't really heard of issues with a W7 64-bit O/S and Home 2. With MyTomTom required for the Vias, yes some have issues.
