SDK: Possible to add menu selection to look up a POI?

Noob here. Just got a TT Rider 1st Ed.

I found some SDK code and have already modified my menus to strip out menu items I don't want/need and reorganize them to my liking.

I'm wondering if it's possible to program a specific POI search to a menu item.

For example, I like Chevron stations. I'd like to add two "macro" menu items to find them:

a) POI Gas Stations including "chev" near my current location

b) POI Gas Stations including "chev' along my route

Is this possible with the SDK?

Anybody have some sample code for something similar to this to get me started?
