SD card problem

I have a GO720T which I have been using with the Western Europe Zone on the internal memory (I live in UK). I have bought a 4GB SDHC card to download the full Europe map but when I place the card into the 720T and follow the instructions to use Home to open the new memory the card is not found (the change device option is greyed out). I believe the card is OK since I can read it directly in the card slot of my PC).
Can anyone help?

It may be too slow to be seen by the unit. At least class 4 and preferably class 6 or higher should be used.

... and not that it would render the card unreadable (although writing would be a problem), be sure that your 720 firmware is up to at least version 8.302 to take advantage of the SDHC (vs. 2GB maximum size SD) card.
