Same Map 2 devices

I am wondering if a person owns 2 Tom Tom's if they can purchase 1 map and use it on both devices?

No, the map is tied to one particular unit, and won't work on any other.

it is possible its a little tricky.i bought the one upgrade in 2006 put it on mine,in the summer of this year,uploaded it to a buddys tomtom,then i bought my dad a 700 and it came with old map.called tt they said they would do it this time but didnt want to.the place i bought it from said it had usa and canada but had the na map.so it s possible to do it.just a little tricky.they said like only 2 times in 6 months for loading the map.?
