It can probably be fixed. First, we need to know more about this device because the new software must come from one of TWO different places - it depends upon what software is on the device now.

What does the boot screen say? TomTom or Webfleet?
 
First, I do not think this device can handle a 64GB memory card (though I could be mistaken about that). So we should be using 32GB for this update.

Next, all Bridge devices had 16GB of internal memory. This is normal. No more than that should be required.

What web site did you use to get your update for this device that caused the problem?
Was it https://developer.tomtom.com/bridge/downloads/releases ?
And which file did you download? There's obviously more on the uSD card than just one map/system download.
What is stored on the uSD card is about 2X the amount of data vs. normal.
 
So you are saying that after the update, the navigation app is still crashing?
