Safety Cameras service disabled on XXL

I purchased the Safety Cameras service for my XXL, and it operated successfully for 12 months. It has now stopped, and I notice that the Tom Tom Home page now offers it again for another $50 - reiterating that "You only need one subscription ..."!.

Is this a technical fault, or have I just been ripped off?

TomTom markets this stuff in different fashions all around the globe. Don't know if the Aus/NZ deal is annual or perpetual for that price. Best call customer support and ask them.

It's normally an annual subscription....

And it DOES say "1 year" on the Australian website when you go to buy it.
