Rotary vs Round about

Hi,

I have a TomTom Go 920/920T. I am currently in the UK using it. I have select one of the TomTom Computer voices with UK english. Recently I applied a new update to my TomTom and now it is saying Rotary instead of Round About even though I am using one of the UK voices. I have tried changing to a different voices but no help. Could someone please let me know how to fix this?

What happens if you use a US computer voice?

Perhaps the update now differentiates between roundabout and rotary intersections? In the technical parlance of the highway engineer, they are not the same thing so maybe TomTom has 'upgraded' their nomenclature.

It says Rotary for both UK and USA voices.

Probably, but I think they do have round about in the UK
